What the estate is built from

Access varies per address, which is the whole reason central coordination is worth paying for.

Sites typically run business fibre or enterprise fibre where routes allow, with business wireless or LTE where they do not. SD-WAN is the control layer once branches depend on central systems, and edge security is delivered as Stem Secure Edge, our managed Sophos firewall.

How is this different from ordering connectivity for each site?

Ordering per site means every location becomes its own project, with its own provider relationship, its own equipment decisions and its own support path. Multi-Site Network treats the estate as one programme: standard site templates, coordinated ordering, consistent equipment and policy, and one place to see the status of everything.

Can you work across providers we already use?

Yes, and usually we have to. Coverage differs by address, so a realistic estate uses several network operators and more than one access technology. The point of the service is that this is our problem to coordinate rather than yours, and that the operating model looks the same to you regardless of who is underneath at each site.

What do you need from us to quote a rollout?

A site list with addresses, which locations are priority or operationally critical, any desired go-live dates, and whether particular sites need backup connectivity. Building or access constraints are worth flagging early since they usually drive lead times more than the connectivity itself.

Do all sites have to be on the same tier?

No. Tiers are chosen per location according to what an outage costs there, so a head office might be Critical while smaller branches sit on Essential. Multi-Site Network is the layer that keeps a mixed estate consistently designed, delivered and reported.

What happens after the rollout is finished?

The same operating model continues: central monitoring, supplier escalation, incident coordination and change control, with monthly reporting and scheduled reviews. Capacity and usage are tracked so upgrades are recommended before they become urgent rather than after.
